Based in London, James Sullivan is best known as the front-person of power-pop trio, More Kicks, as well as a member of the multi-country pop group Suspect parts. Light Years is his first solo album, recorded in his home studio. Blitzed-out fuzz, paranoid drum machines twitches, stadium-sized reflections and lo-fi pop nuggets bring to mind Paul Westerberg, Guided By Voices, and even a lil' Velvet Underground.
